Schools are temples of learning for children: Sharath Bachegowda

Nandagudi, Karnataka — Sharath Bachegowda, Congress MLA from Hosakote, during the inauguration of new physics, chemistry, and computer laboratories, and a digital classroom at the Karnataka Public School and Government Degree College in Nandagudi, Hosakote, highlighted the critical role schools play in shaping the future of children.

Speaking at the event, Bachegowda described schools as “temples of learning” where the dreams and aspirations set by parents for their children are brought to life. He emphasised that the recent corporate social responsibility (CSR) funding provided by United Way and NextGen organisations to these institutions, will significantly contribute to laying a strong foundation for the future of thousands of students.

“Receiving funding for educational institutions not only enhances the quality of education but also ensures that children are better equipped to face the challenges of the future, especially in a rapidly digitising world,” Bachegowda stated. He also urged parents to remain actively involved in their children’s education, complementing the efforts made by schools.

Venkata Sudhakar, manager at United Way, echoed Bachegowda’s sentiments, noting that quality education is essential for envisioning and building a better society. The event saw the participation of several dignitaries who lauded the initiative and the positive impact it will have on the community.
