<p>Exactly a year after Pathaan’s premiere, Siddharth Anand has helmed another very successful movie, Fighter. The first film starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone has been a huge box office hit and a global fan favorite. Hrithik’s performance was highly praised by the audience, who were enthralled by his appearance in the movie. Hrithik recently spoke about how he got the physique he wanted for the movie and the unique manner he celebrated.</p>

<p>Hrithik said to Film Companion, “I had to do three transformations: one before the movie began to see whether I still had the talent, another while the movie was being filmed, and finally, because to bad weather, they had to call off the filming. After that, I spent my summer vacation with my sons, and upon returning, I had to undergo my third makeover in six to eight weeks. I had to record three songs back-to-back while undergoing change, which made it very challenging and left me operating only on steam.</p>
<p>“I was quite delighted and relieved when the day finally arrived for my body shot to be completed. However, nothing was satisfying me. I had ice cream and gajar ka halwa. I hadn’t planned for the prize; all I wanted to accomplish was get this done while in fighter flying mode, Hrithik said.</p>
<p>“I was like, ‘What do I do?’” he went on. How should I proceed? I took up a cigarette and proceeded to smoke. My resting heart rate increased from 45 to 75 in only one week, so I dived into the deep end, which is a lesson in and of itself. That is detrimental to you. I stopped as a result. But things went horribly wrong. We only strategize, prepare, and discuss the construction; but what happens after we win? That need a strategy as well.</p>
<p>In addition to Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, the film has important parts from Talat Aziz, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Pradum Shukla, and Pradum Jaykar. This is Hrithik and Deepika’s first joint project and their third with director Siddharth Anand.</p>
